The GM82C712 is a fast SCSI-2 host adapter. It is applied to peripheral devices controlled by PC/AT or equivalent microprocessors. The GM82C712 is one 80-pin QFP or 68-pin PLCC package and include function blocks to satisfy SCSI protocol. The GM82C712 can be implemented to personal computers such as laptops, portables, and so on. Prominence of SCSI is famous for its maximum data transfer rate of upto 10MBytes/sec, and maximum device connectivity of upto eight devices per one SCSI bus.
